Description
The small beach of Punta Rossa, is located on the south coast of the island of Caprera, a beautiful island that is part of the archipelago of La Maddalena. The beach looks like a small expanse of very light gray sand, with the presence of some boulders and a double inlet shape. It overlooks a crystalline sea with a color between blue and green. It has a backdrop characterized by the presence of pebbles and boulders in the initial part, with rocks emerging from the sea. Inside the Punta Rossa area there is an anti-aircraft battery built between the First and Second World War, and the torpedo station. In addition, there are several structures such as barracks and other small military infrastructures now in disuse.
