The beach of Is Traias extends in the territory of Villa simius, in southern Sardinia. It is a splendid beach characterized by white and fine sand, bathed by a crystalline sea that takes on a beautiful color that has various shades of blue. The seabed is mainly sandy and low, with some rocks outcropping, and slopes gently towards the open sea. Inserted within a bay protected from the mistral, at the ends it is bordered by two small cliffs near which the beach becomes pebbly. Thanks to its sheltered position with respect to the winds coming from the north west and the seabed populated by fish, it is very popular with scuba diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The evocative panorama is enriched by the view of the island of Serpentara and for those wishing to learn more about the history of the ancient Sardinia population, the necropolis of Accu is Traias is nearby.
