Nuraghe Sa Domu e S'Orku

The archaeological area with the Nuraghe Sa Domu e s'Orku, is located on the slopes of Monte Mannu, near the town of Domusnovas. The nuraghe is one of the largest in all of Sardinia, but the collapse of several parts and the shrubs have prevented real excavations to bring the archaeological site back to light. It was built in different phases starting from 1600 BC, to end around 1000 BC. Around the nuraghe there are numerous traces of huts that testify to the presence of a village.
