The beaches of Monte Fico stretch south-west of the island of Caprera and develop along the undulating coasts of the homo nymous mountain, in the locality of Stagnali. They have a beach with a total length of 150 meters, of bronze-colored sand in the north, and more golden in the south, with medium and fine grain. The sea is light blue in the north beach, and becomes bright blue-green in the south and south-east cove. The seabed is almost immediately deep and rocky everywhere, and is ideal for scuba diving and snorkeling. In the coves, an intact and beautiful nature predominates, dominated by a dense vegetation of fragrant shrubs of the Mediterranean scrub, which grow among the pink and wild rocks. the coves, normally not very busy, are also suitable for bathing children.
