Moving Sardinia  

ARST S.p.A. is in fact the largest local public transport company on the island and one of the most important nationwide. We operate throughout the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, dealing mainly with suburban connections by road, but also urban transport in the cities of Alghero, Carbonia, Iglesias, Macomer and Oristano.

In the metropolitan area of Cagliari and the city of Sassari, on the other hand, we operate two metrotranvia systems: Metrocagliari and MetroSassari.

In the rail sector, there are four lines on offer: Monserrato - Isili, Macomer - Nuoro, Sassari - Alghero and Sassari - Sorso.

We then manage the tourist train service of the Trenino Verde of Sardinia, one of the main attractions of the island. The Trenino Verde is in fact a territorial network developed over more than 430 km that runs through the most striking and characteristic landscapes and natural monuments of the region.
