Cala Coticcio

The Cala Coticcio beach is located in the north-eastern part of the island of Caprera, in an enchanting cove located within the Maddalena National Park. It is a real natural swimming pool with fine white sand and turquoise sea, pink rocks and Mediterranean scrub and is also known as 'Tahiti'. It is the ideal destination for snorkelers. Since August 2020 the limited number has been entered so it can only be accessed if accompanied by environmental hiking guides. The excursion is free. To reach it you have to follow a challenging path, comfortable shoes are recommended.
