The Dolmen di Motorra is a prehistoric sepulchral monument located in the municipality of Dorgali, in the province of Nuoro, from which it is about two kilo meters away.It has a polygonal plan and is formed by a set of eight basalt stones covered by a slab of two meters in diameter. . The access corridor to the chamber of the dead was originally surmounted by three slabs, now no longer superimposed, while on the sides of the corridor there is a double ring of stones, the innermost is still intact, while only a few blocks are visible in the external one. Numerous findings have been made in the tomb attributable to the Recent Neolithic and the Copper Age kept in the archaeological museum of Dorgali. This tomb is considered one of the most important in Sardinia.
