Description

In Goni, a delightful village in south-eastern Sardinia, an important archaeological area is located in its lush countryside, in the locality of Pranu Muttedu, where it is possible to admire about sixty prehistoric menhirs. Fascinating and interesting place where these elongated sandstone of the proto-anthropomorphic type are grouped, distributed in various ways, in pairs, in circles or in small groups and sometimes on the same tomb rooms. At the moment it is the highest known concentration of menhirs and megaliths among the highest in Sardinia.
