Description

The nuraghe San Pietro, takes its name from the church of the same name which has now disappeared, stands on the top of a hill on the outskirts of Ussaramanna. The nuragic complex consists of a central tower surrounded by a polylobed bastion made up of straight curtains and four almost equidistant towers. The primitive tower, or keep, has a circular chamber, today without a roof, with two opposing ogival ceiling niches.
