Pozzo sacro sa Testa

The sacred well Sa Testa is located on the outskirts of Olbia city, along the road to Golfo Aranci. Typical construction of the Nuraghic age, this well temple has three essential parts common to all works of this kind: the vestibule, the staircase covered by an attic of architraves, the well of spring water. It is enclosed in a circular courtyard, with seats at the base reserved for the faithful, has a body about eighteen meters long and a staircase of seventeen steps. It was probably built at the end of the 2nd millennium BC.
