Description

The Capo Figari traffic light is located in the municipality of Golfo Aranci, in the northern part of Sardinia. Built in 1890, on top of the Capo Figari promontory, this lighthouse and observatory was the site of the first successful long-distance data transmission experiment by physicist Guglielmo Marconi. It can be accessed both on foot and by bike and from a height of 342 m above sea level you can enjoy a breathtaking view.
