Description

Cala Domestica, located on the south-west coast of the island, on the border of Sulcis, is a corner of paradise, bordered by high and white cliffs with unspoiled nature. South of Buggerru, which is only two kilo meters away, it was the embarkation point for minerals extracted from the mines until 1940 and preserves the ruins of warehouses, deposits and tunnels dug by miners that have now become splendid well-sheltered coves. The sand has chlorides that vary between white, amber and golden, the sea from turquoise to blue. The seabed is low and sandy with the presence of some rocks with an extraordinary underwater richness and variety of fish, much appreciated for underwater fishing.
