Spiaggia Cala Girgolu

The beach of Cala Girgolu can be reached by taking the eastern Sardinian road towards Monte Petrosu and is located between the beach of Porto Taverna and Capo Coda Cavallo. A true corner of paradise nestled among the pink granite cliffs modeled in the most varied forms. Cala Girgolu is also called "The Turtle Beach" for the famous rock in the shape of a turtle. The cove consists of a main beach and a series of coves with a shallow and sandy bottom that makes them suitable for families with children.
