Description
The Cala d’Arena Beach is located within the National Park of the Asinara Island in the northwestern part of Sardinia. It is a beautiful and wide beach of white and soft sand, which during the winter is divided in two by a stream that crosses it, surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and fragrant shrub vegetation, bathed by transparent and very clean waters. Years ago the Caretta Caretta turtles laid their eggs and you could still see some specimens of monk seals. In this preserved and wild paradise, the entrances are limited by the park authority.
