Description

The Beach Le Dune di Porto Pino, in the lower Sulcis, in the South-West of Sardinia, is a white and boundless desert of fine white sand, shaped by the mistral, which extends for a kilo meter of hills that reach thirty meters in height , interrupted in some places by the fresh vegetation. This fantastic place is also called "Is Arenas Bianca" and is part of the Teulada territory, while the other three kilo meters of the coast are part of the Sant’Anna Arresi territory. The cool waters dominated by currents are ideal for underwater fishing or snorkeling enthusiasts and a year-round destination for surfers. Behind the beach, we find the Is-Brebeis pond, home to numerous migratory birds such as pink flamingos, herons and herring gulls.
