Description
The Lido del Sole beach was the first beach of the Olbiesi until the 70s, then replaced by the town of Pittulongu for its clearer waters. An important nature reserve, it is located about 7 kilo meters south of Olbia in an area of great interest both for the views and for the presence of ponds that are home to numerous species of birds. The beach and the seabed differ greatly from the nearby beaches. The sand is brown with reddish and coarse-grained shades. The beach is generally uncrowded. One of the few beaches equipped for any type of disability, with infirmaries, toilets, showers and bathing equipment.
