Description

The Baia delle Mimose beach is one of the beaches on the Badesi coast, the western limit of Gallura, also known as Spiaggia Pirrotto-Li Frati since this is the name of the small hamlet where it is located. Three kilo meters long, bounded to the south by the mouth of the Coghinas river and to the north by the 'twin' Li Junchi, both easily reachable by any means, 'Le mimosa' is surrounded by dunes covered with small junipers and sea roses, the sand is white , the color of the changing sea, between blue and emerald green. Thanks to the constant wind it is a popular destination for wind and kite surf enthusiasts. Looking towards the sea, on the right you can see the Isola Rossa in the distance, while on the left the profile of the promontory of Castel sardo. Not far from the mouth of the Coghinas, a three-hundred-meter stretch of beach houses the "dog beach", where four-legged friends can play freely and enter the water, and umbrellas, showers and bowls are at their disposal.
