Museo civico di paleontologia e speleologia "Edouard Alfred Martel"

Naturalistic Museum dedicated to the Geology and Paleontology of Sulcis - Iglesiente. It is housed in the premises of the former workshop of the Great Serbariu Mine, in the southwestern part of Sardinia. It was founded in 1972 by the Speleological Research Group "EA Martel" of Carbonia and became a Civic Museum in 1996. The central theme of the Museum concerns the bio events, geo events and ancient environments recorded in the rocks present in the South West of Sardinia, with particular attention to the fossils that allow us to reconstruct the geological history of Sulcis and the English area.
