Museo risorgimentale Duca d'Aosta

Museo Risorgimentale Duca d'Aosta is located in the territory of Sanluri, in southern Sardinia. It is an important exhibition space opened to the public in 1927 at the Eleonora d'Arborea Castle. It was born on the initiative of General Nino Villa Santa as a tribute to the Sardinians who died during the First World War. Among the objects on display are equipment and flags, including the Tricolor of Victory. In the Castle there are also other rooms set up with historical artifacts from various eras. The Wax Collection with 400 sculptures and portraits dating from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century.
