Nuraghe Orolio

The Nuraghe Orolio is an archaeological monument, also called Madrone, located in the hills of Silanus, in the province of Nuoro. It is a complex built mainly in granite and is in total abandonment. It is a construction entirely made of granite, trilobate of which today only the central part remains, about twelve meters high. At the entrance there is a large architrave, the access corridor. three niches and the staircase leading to the second level. From here the helical staircase leads to what should have been the third level but of which only one row remains visible.
