Spiaggia Cala Garibaldi

Located in the extreme north-east of Sardinia, it occupies the west coast of the island of Caprera in front of the small island of Giardinelli and the three islets, offering a fairy tale landscape. Considered one of the jewel coves of the La Maddalena archipelago, it owes its name to the Hero of the two worlds who moored his boats here in a pier that can still be visited today. The beach is made up of fine gold-colored sand, crystal clear and transparent water with colors ranging from emerald green to blue and turquoise. The seabed slowly degrading forms small natural pools among the rocks, making the cove also loved by families with children. It is also the ideal place for snorkeling, underwater fishing and windsurfing enthusiasts.
