In south-eastern Sardinia, between Geremeas and Cann'e Sisa beaches, in the territory of Maracalagonis, lies the enchanting Baccu Mandara beach. Formed by a long stretch of about 3 kilo meters of white and soft sand, with medium-large grains, it is bathed by the sea of a beautiful color where the shades of green and turquoise blend. The seabed is low and sandy but slopes rapidly a few meters from the shore. A part of the beach is interrupted by the mouth of the Rio Geremeas and creates a suggestive lake near the shore making the landscape unique. All around there is a dense Mediterranean scrub that welcomes some dunes and, on windy days, from this beautiful beach it is possible to follow the evolution of the surfers.
