Spiaggia di Barisoni

Barisoni beach is part of the coast called Marina di Tertenia, a spectacular stretch of sandy coast over ten kilo meters long in the territory of the main center of southern Ogliastra, along the eastern coast of Sardinia. It extends along the small hamlet of the same name of Barisoni, born as a miners' village, and is characterized by a beach composed mainly of light gray pebbles. The beautiful sea, with its iridescent colors between green and blue, has a pebbly and shallow seabed. The beach, well sheltered from the mistral wind, is surrounded by the green of the flourishing Mediterranean scrub. It is not a very wide beach, but nevertheless it is never crowded.
