Spiaggia di Foxi Murdegu

Description

Foxi Murdegu is a suggestive beach located in Sarrala, in the municipality of Tertenia, on the eastern coast of Sardinia. Dominated by the Aragonese watchtower of San Giovanni Sarrala, it is also known by the name Melisenda. It is a large crescent, characterized by golden sand mixed with pebbles, surrounded by green vegetation of Mediterranean scrub and transparent and clear waters of a beautiful iridescent blue. The shallow and sandy seabed gently slopes towards the open sea, making it suitable for families with children. If we exclude the part of the beach near the promontory on which the Tower stands, the remaining coast is beaten by the winds so it is very popular with those who practice windsurfing and kite surfing. A part of the beach, the northern side, is dedicated to four-legged friends.
