Spiaggia di Sa Colonia

In the municipality of Domus de Maria, along the southern Sardinian coast, lies the enchanting beach of Sa Colonia. It is a large and wide beach of soft amber sand, bathed by a crystalline emerald sea, typical of the area, with shallow and sandy bottoms. In the rear part it is surrounded by suggestive dunes and the Chia pond while in front of the beach there is the charming islet of Cardolinu joined to the beach by a sandy isthmus. Very exposed to winds, it is appreciated by surfers and for the richness of its seabed also by those who practice diving and snorkeling.
