Description

In western Sardinia, on the Costa Verde, there is an unspoiled and wild paradise: the Scivu Beach, where nature is practically intact and is formed by an expanse of golden sand about three kilo meters long, bordered by a cliff, it is a unique place and suggestive, defined as “talking” due to the noise generated by walking along the beach accompanied by the lapping of the waves and the cries of the seagulls. It is an isolated beach, far from any type of settlement in the vicinity, characterized by sandy dunes, leaning against the rocky walls, which welcome centuries-old junipers, brooms, mastic trees and the rare sea lilies. It owes its name to the slide formed by a huge dune that accompanies the visitor to the beach. The sea is crystal clear and rarely calm so when the north winds blow it gives great satisfaction to windsurfers and kite surfers, even in the winter months. The seabed near the shore is low and sandy, while offshore, especially near the reef, populated with fish and therefore particularly appreciated by those who practice diving, spearfishing and snorkeling.
