Spiaggia di Su Forru a Machina

Su Forru beach in Machina is located on the south west coast of Sardinia, just seven kilo meters from the town of Sant’Antioco. It owes its name to the presence of an old kiln used, once upon a time, for the production of lime, given the large availability of quarries in this area. It is a small beach with a beach of light, medium-grained sand, bathed by an enchanting crystalline sea with shallow and sandy bottoms that slope gently from the shore towards the open sea. In the rear part there is a typically Mediterranean scented vegetation. Being exposed to the winds it is very popular with windsurfers and kite surfers as well as those who practice underwater fishing and diving for the sea rich in fish fauna.
