Description

The Porto paglietto beach is located in the territory of Porto scuso, in the south of Sardinia. It takes its name from the sea grass, called palla marina in Sardinia, or straw, as it was common during storms that large quantities of algae were deposited on the beach. It is an expanse of white and golden sand set in a small bay between two cliffs and is sheltered from the winds. The sea is transparent with a pale blue. In front of the beach it is possible to admire the Ghinghetta rock
