La Prisgiona, Nuragic archaeological site, datable to 1400-1000 BC. C., is located in the Capichera valley, in the municipality of Arzachena.It is a complex consisting of a Nuraghe and a village of about 100 huts.The Nuraghe consists of a central tower (Il Mastio), about seven meters high, flanked by two side towers, all protected by an imposing bastion.Access to the tower is possible through an S-shaped door that leads into a back passage, from which you can see the opening of the staircase that led to the upper floor.Around the Nuraghe, the remains of at least a dozen circular huts are identified, with an entrance often equipped with a threshold and a paved floor.Nearby, a well over seven meters deep, still active, in which refined nuragic jugs were found.
