Spiaggia di Cala del Faro

Description

Cala del Faro beach is located north of Porto Cervo, a short distance from the fascinating Capo Ferro lighthouse, facing the Capuchin island, in the beautiful Costa Smeralda, one of the most popular beaches for its panorama. It is bordered by rock formations and rocks. Behind the beach there is a small green area and the tourist settlement of the same name. The sea is blue and clear and has a deep seabed that degrades quickly making it perfect for a swim or snorkeling among the nearby rocks populated by different species of fish and marine plants. The beaches of the Faro are actually two; there is a smaller one a hundred meters further north, still within the tourist settlement. The location of the beach also makes it perfect for windsurfing. Near the beach, the Capo Ferro lighthouse, dating back to 1861 and still active today, positioned on the cliff as a solitary guardian, evocative especially at sunset and when large sailing boats pass by, populating the background. The beach, located in a richly equipped environment, it is ideal for families who want to enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. On the beach there are also platforms for the disabled, designed to be able to reach the water and benefit from the coast in complete relaxation.
